Trucking

Transportation is our core business, having been established as a trucking company in 1924. We are both a Contract, and Common Carrier servicing a number of industries. We have been servicing Grocery Chain store customers since 1924. We have also been serving a large number of intermodal customers out of the Port of Boston and other regional ports. Our Transportation footprint covers the Northeast, south to the Mid-Atlantic States.

Warehousing

The DiSilva Companies have owned, operated, and provided staffing for a number of customers across the New England region. Some of the types of facilities’ we have operated include Grocery, General Merchandise, Seasonal goods, Health & Beauty Aids, Salvage and Reclamation operations.

Labor Leasing

We have been providing permanent skilled labor solutions to both the Transportation, and warehousing industry for in excess of 40 years. At present we are serving a wide ranging group of customers in a wide variety of industries across the employment spectrum.

We hire the employees, manage their performance where required, and provide a full menu of employee benefits, payroll services, Workers Comp. and other value added items to suit any companies needs.
